Series Six Part Two costume index

Sorry that part two of my Series Six Costume Index has taken a while to appear, but there are a LOT of costume changes for these half-dozen episodes, and they all needs careful documentation! Enjoy.

The Wedding of River Song
Blimey - this is a complicated one, and the only time The Doctor get to wear his ENTIRE wardrobe in one episode! Both jackets; all three shirts; and all three bow ties are at some point worn – count em!

Also, yet again the BBC publicity department slips up a bit. The montage shown here has The Doctor wearing his greatcoat, which he is never seen wearing during the Area 52 scenes! Oops.

  1. After reviewing the blu-ray of each of these episodes and having had hold of the jeans in the g-star raw shop i think you're right about the blade style for most of the episodes except for one or two exceptions. In 'the impossible astronaut' the jeans that the older doctor wears are the same just worn in more to reflect his future self. In 'the girl who waited' the pocket hight, rear pocket style and lack of the clinch band at the back suggest the jeans worn in that episode were the g-star raw 3301 slim in 3d aged spark denim. And in 'closing time' the jeans are the blade style again but in coal vintage worn in denim as even in good light they appear much blacker and less waxy than the spark denim. And just a hint, the g-star raw blade coal vintage worn in slim jeans are still available in most sizes on the littlewoods website.

  2. Do you plan on coming out with a 10th doctor costume index? That would be brilliant!

    1. Not sure about that one.
Being a tabbed collar it is likely to have been custom-made.
